My big problem with Amp modellers is even though the sound being relayed to the DAW is a very faithful representation of the amp and speaker cab combo and that's the recorded sound it's very hard to get the same vibe through Studio monitors or headphones. I have very good Genelec nearfield monitors but they don't have the same bass extension my 2x12 cab has. I used to use Mission sm6A monitors which had close to 10' woofers that were better and I even used to monitor through Mackie srm350s which definitely did have the low end you need to feel a patch. I find it more inspiring to play through my Marshall Origin 20 and my 2X12 with a power soak on it so I can turn the valves up a bit without deafening my neighbours. Valve amp simulation is great but the monitoring situation needs addressing. I don't even know if there is a solution. Maybe headphones and Subsonic air projectors???? As a guitarist it's good to hear and feel the air moving... Luv and Peace.

🚨 NIGHT MODE 🚨 for Behringer X touch. Will illuminate the the button's LEDs at different velocities when on or off. Which would allow a better sense of direction across the behringer console in darker studio settings. Would this be useful yes or no? comment on why it would or wouldn't work for your workflow. I’ve been in contact with behringer’s team and they are planning to implement this feature!!! Only thing is it has no time frame. If I can get people to like this idea and tag behringer , they said priority for this would be ASAP. Please like and tag Behringer if you would like to have a NIGHT MODE FEATURE #Behringer

Wow. Was thinking the core sounded much better until they switched guitars. Blue shirt guy is a better player and the SE sounded great in his hands. Still, core for me.

I would have used the two Saffire 56 inputs with the ISA emulation and since the preamps of the 56 are the same as the Octo I would not have used the latter especially since the phantom power supplies are not selectable at the unit...

The button layout for Ableton Live 11 sucks. 50% has no function. The body is very high so you can‘t see the lights around the encoders. The information on the displays are only readable when you have the right seat position. And the best: The behringer support is trash. I change to Icon Pro. Icon controllers can fully customized for all major DAW and the body fits to the extenders without black tape stripes. Yes, the X-touch is a cheap solution for beginners but after a few sessions you see and feel what i meen.

Man that se sounds incredible. Right out of the gate, by sound only, would have guessed the se was the core and core was the se. Both sound incredibly similar though. Could tell me both were cores or se's and I'd believe it.

I think there's probably a big difference in weight. Thicker sound usually comes from heavier guitars

I am having trouble updating my Firehawk. I use the line6 updater but it never seems to be able to see the Firehawk. I am trying with the USB interface and no interface with just bluetooth. Thanks for your awesome Firehawk Videos. They are great !

Core sounds better here. Enough to make me want the core more, usually thats not the case.

I used to own the line 6 x3 live I knew that pod inside out. I now have this model. And having troubles. Trouble with volume when I change presets it’s either too loud or it won’t turn down when I press the volume pedal down
